what according to you will be the perfect configuration for your ideal computer?
mine is 2gb ram
256 mb graphics card
19" lcd
and good speakers

With technology advancing so fast, I doubt there will ever be a perfect computer for me...
At current, my perfect comp would be a server with couple of Xeon (quad) processors, couple of 64GB memory, 4096 1TB enterprise hard disks and a couple of 30-inch LCD monitors....

my perfect computer...i think a hard disk with a size of 80GB, 1024MB DDRAM, Intel Pentium 4, ASUS DVD-Writer 64k and BOSE Speakers with woofers, and a 64MB Nvidia GeForce Video Card... :)

the computer technology is changing so fast that i felt that my PC is outdated the very next day i bought it. So for me there is nothing like "PERFECT COMPUTER", it depends on the usage.For game developer like me normal PCs are too slow to work with.

I have a good computer but anyway I have always wished to have the newest parts of every hardware piece there is. So my dream computer configuration is:
CPU: dual core 3 GHZ, RAM: 8 GB, GPU: Nvidia with 512 VRAM, some good mother board, good coolers :) and sound card.

i'm just gonna say that is week beyond belief of a system. you didn't even list a processing speed. My perfect system would be at least 3hghz quad core, 8gb ram, 512mb graphics card, and three 21" lcd screens (currently have) lol triple screens.
