Since all of us who have achieved our goals to finish our studies, all of these endeavors were properly mentored and guided not only by our norturing parents but most likely by our teachers or professors. Do you believe or agree that teaching is a noble profession?

I do agree and would always believe that even if the educational system of the Philippines is utterly ghastly.
I did finish a degree in education (BSE major in History) and I was thinking if I'm going to teach. I've already decided yesterday that I will. I may not be good but I believe I can be one someday. I just need experience.

Question: Are you in the teaching profession?

Hi Web! Thanks in sharing. I do appreciate it. Am so glad that you have decided to join teaching despite of the ghastly educational system in our country. I could feel that nobleness stands with you being a Filipino. So, go on... you've just made a right decision. Be an author of success and a wholesome model not only to the students but likewise to everybody. Even if am not in the teaching profession but I do admire a lot people who do share their untiring efforts in promoting quality education for students. Wishing you more success!

I think teacher is a good job, for which can develop various talents and is something can change the world.
I don't like the link between education and commercial business.

Yes I love the students too, but with society the way it is today, teachers should be receiving combat pay. We are in jeopardy every moment of the day at school. so many teachers are being hurt while on duty.

When you imagine that all the professors at the universities ,all the great nuclear energy scientists, all the Doctors and all th great politicians passed through the tutalage of humble, and usually poor teachers, then you judge their professional nobility not by how rich they stand out in society, but by what they have contributed to the country and to the world! That makes teachers absolutely noble.

I feel it is one of the more nobler professions but definitely the least paid for its worth in changing one feeble mind at a time and creating intellectual geniuses !
We get some respect but little compensation and very little support from any of the administrations for each separate educational facility out there, and we our shaping the world's future in these children !
Shame on them for giving us the very least, truthful artifact to teach the children the real history of this planet gone amuck and why . . .govt, govt, govt !

Yes, the truthful artifact in changing one feeble mind and creating intellectual geniuses for a better children of tomorrow, has been less heard by our own government which is not supposed to happen. It's really a shame! May our own government would soon realize its faults and mistakes and would give more importance to this profession which has been an attribute in the nations' building. Thanks for sharing!

Sure it is a noble profession. I am currently taking my Master's now so I could venture into teaching later on. The nobility of this profession lies in the fact that teachers or professors possess the passion to impart education even if they are not rightfully compensated. Yet, they still continue to enhance learning to the best of their abilities. By that, I am hoping I would become a good teacher myself someday.

Am glad you're to be in this venture soon. I do hope that despite of the unseen artifacts that have been an attribute to the nations' building done by teachers and professors wherein our own government failed to recognize would not be a bar to your own wish and desire. Noble deed lives forever! Thanks in sharing and keep on going....
