I dvr-ed the news last night and I was just watching it, and I heard that Fenway Park got set on fire. Of course, it wasn't disgruntled fans from another team or anything, it was actually people who worked there who accidentally hit something and caused the fire, but the park is alright, no major damage done.

That's good that nobody got hurt. That's a historic park and I wouldn't mind being inside of it just to say I was there. If it was from fans that were disgruntled, that's taking it too far. I didn't want to see the Red Sox win it all but I wouldn't go to that extreme. As long as everything is fine, it'll be all right. I didn't know about this.

At first when they started talking about it on the news they made it sound like a fan had done it, "what every Cleveland fan was hoping for...Fenway park had been set on fire" and I'm thinking, I never wanted that to happen! How can they say something like that!

It's just some fool who just didn't understand it. Obviously, they didn't really ask anybody who is a Cleveland fan or a New York fan for that matter. That type of remark should be retracked on the count of they don't know what Cleveland fans want. We just want a championship, not destroy somebody else's stadium.

No, they knew it was someone who worked at Fenway, it was an accident. The cleaning crew was there and they were cleaning it up and stuff, and some of the wires were faulty and caught on fire.

Glad he believes you now. I think it's crazy that something caught on fire though, it's just so weird.
