I started smoking when I was 7. I'm 30 now. I want to quit smoking really bad, but I honestly just don't know where to start. I have no will power and I just can't seem to stop and the more I think about smoking, the more I want to smoke.
I keep seeing these billboards about this laser therapy and was wondering what the deal was. I know how it works for the most part. It's like acupuncture but with lasers. The cost is like around $500.
Has anyone ever tried it? Has anyone heard anything about it? Has anyone heard of anything else that isn't so expensive that works?
Thank you in advance. Have a great day!

Man do I know what you mean. I wish I could just "quit" and boy do I love the people that say it's just as easy as deciding not to smoke any more. I don't want to smoke. It's expensive, smelly, and unhealthy. Not to mention all the non smokers treating you like a criminal every time you light up. AND all the smoking bans now. If you hear of something that works, feel free to share...lol. Patches, nicotine gum, support groups.. benn there done that.. don't work. SO anything else..I'd love to know.

I haven't called about these treatments yet, I wanted to do some research about it. I would only do it if there were a money back guarentee. But there probably isn't.
I feel just like you do though. If I quit cold turkey, I would probably end up severely hurting someone, lol. If I figure anything out, I will let you know! Thanks for the response! Happy Holidays!

My mother in law tried the ear laser thing, I think they shock a place on the inside of your ear and it's supposed to make you not want to smoke anymore. It costs like a hundred dollars and it does not work! She wanted to smoke immediately after she left the clinic and even went back to get shocked again. I think nothing will work unless you really want to quit smoking. I've heard of the ear thing working for people I know but if you don't want to quit then you won't. My grandma on the other hand had smoked for forty years and quit cold turkey at the age of eighty. She says she still wants to smoke every now and then and she just doesn't. It's all about will power!
