Anyone suggest the top three airports to avoid if possible.
In my opinion it's the HEATHROW London.
Massive building site, traffic around the clock, rubbish customer services and stupid security procedures. So you have to be around for hours before departure to get on plane, meantime you must get almost naked and gave away many of your personal stuff - just in case that you turn out to be flying magoo, then you end-up in main square where all info you can get is "WAIT".
And after few hours in there you must run to your gate - distance ready for Seb Coe's training - while you waiving your passport and ticket high above head not to get shot.
Then have some relax anywhere you go.
And now you are back and if you lucky you need just one hour to be out of there - but be aware, if you have the wrongly colored face or passport - they are waiting, hiding behind desks ready to interrogate you and with big smiles send you home.
So if there is other place like this, let us know.

First off I live in Scotland and if I wanna go anywhere I have to go through Heathrow. I have been through Heathrow quite alot of times.
What you are saying about the colour of your face is total rubbish though unless you are talking about being white.
I was there 2 days after a big terrorist thing. My whole trip consisted of 36 hours cos of delays and all that so Heathrow was my last leg of the journey before Glasgow. Basically I ended up in Heathrow for a while and it was touch and go whether or not my flight was going and was I going to be allowed on it cos my connecting flight had been missed due to delays.
Anyway, I went up to security which was just crazy and there was not one white person. I am not racist right but I certainly did feel slightly intimidated. The UK airports are under threats from religious nutters coming from Pakistan and India and here is security where any of the guys could fit the description.
But yeah you are right, they threw my handbag at me cos I forgot I had a bottle of water on it that the last airplane gave me.
When I landed there I went running to BA to say I had missed my connecting flight due to security delays and I got told to go and phone someone in the call centre with my own money from a payphone. The woman wasn't remotely helpful at all.
Yeah, it was a pretty horrible airport and it was so stinking.
They cram you on a bus to get you to your gate and drive too fast so that you are swaying all over the place and there are so many old people that even if you were a cripple you would never get a seat on the bus.

I am lucky in that I have not yet had a miserable airport experience. I have been to Toronto, Phoenix, Iceland and Denmark, and in all four airports, nothing really out of the ordinary happened to me, and there were no bad experiences.
