Back pain is not my idea of fun

I found out I have disc bulges and disc degeneration. I have tried all the ways to help this thing. Well guess what...I now go in the 29th of this month to have injections. I wont feel or know much about it due to the fact I will be sedated but if these don't work the other option is surgery. I will not have the surgery. I have heard good and bad but I am this type of person if it can happen it will. I never believed that way until any and every side effect a medication has well I get half of them and to be honest I am so tired of pain and pills. Anyhow, that is the latest on my back issues. Ya know I never thought I would opt for needles being put in my back but this pain has to go.

I've got disc bulges and one is herniated. They're doing traction on me, massage, heat, and tens unit. It has taken a few months, but I'm feeling better now. I hope something helps you soon. Surgery is a difficult call. Really good surgeons have done wonderful things. But each person is different and not every area has really good surgeons. Take care and I hope you are without pain soon.

Hi there, yeah I have tried all of those. ha ha. But yes, I agree with you surgery is difficult. I am trying to stay away from that one. Thank you all for caring. :)

Hi there, no not at the moment. They are wanting to see if the injections work first to make sure it's not a structual issue. They are hoping it's just inflamation.
