Hollywood gods sem to have decided that the future of movies is in the 3D stereoscopic realm. Spielberg and Jackson will do a stereoscopic 3D movie from Tin Tin, James Cameron is shooting Avatar with a stereoscopic camera he personally helped developing and right now Beowulf can be seen in 3D in selected theatres.
For those not knowing what i'm talking about, stereoscopic 3D is shooting images, or videos using 2 difefrent images per frame, one for each eye. New generation glasses have to weared in order to make the correct eye see the correct image (those arent those horrible red/green goggles) and a 3D effect cheates your brain to think that objects you are seeying have actual depth.
I have seen this only once on the big screen. Did someone experience it? How would you describe it as in quality of the 3D?
