What do you do? Fight, Sit there, or something else?

Your 29 year-old brother who is much bigger than you has your 21 year sister on the floor in a headlock, pressing all of his weight against her neck. Do you help? Which one? Do you let it happen? Do you deal with it in a different way?

Wait a second, why would your brother call the cops for assault when he's the one who headlock your sister on the floor?
If it was in my case of course I would help my sister to get out of the situation even if she was on the wrong side. But that doesn't mean that I will be on her side. I will just ensure that whatever their conflict is, it should not go that far. That's not the way an issue should be resolved. They're not in kindergarten anymore. She's still a woman whom a man should respect.

Thanks for the response. The simple answer to your question, he's a power-hungry D*****bag with a huge inferiority complex. He called the cops because he realized he's no longer the most dominant person in the family and he was trying to get rid of the threats (my sister and I).

i think i should stop the fight first before asking what's wrong. Just to think of broken bones and bruises they might end up having. And if they dont want to stop[like most of people do]. i could suggest them to fight like mature people instead of breaking each other noses. And the fact that the other one is a girl and younger and i should assume much smaller, i should seriously end it. Have some love people![its your siblings!] LOL!

I actually had this happen, and I sided with my sister. I started punching my older brother in the back of his head and then when he stood up I put him in a sleeper hold. He called the cops on both of us once I let him go. I was surprised at how easy it was to take him. The cops just got our statements and let us all off with a warning.

Oh good i was afraid he will hit you just to get even. if i were your brother and u did hit me like u did i would definetely find a way to get even. wahahaha! and i think im quite a bully to my big brother before. hehehehe! but i dont hit him just more on verbally the fact that he is stronger makes me think twice!
