What is the worst thing someone has said to you that has hurt you?

Hi littlefranciscan! I have been called a liar and was accused of making up stories infront of my face and that hurts very much and I have never forgotten all the other words that were hurled upon me afterwards. It was my first time to get into a confrontation like that and I was so shocked. It is a good thing that I have a witness who heard and knew how it all happened and he came to my rescue. But when he did, that person who accused me have accused me again of saying ugly things about my husband and that did it. I cried and told her that I am not a liar and how can she lie like that so easily? My husband was so furious and he told her that he knows me very well and how I can not even utter those words she was accusing me of unlike her who has always been saying negative things about people. Since then, I became distant with her and I don't think I have completely forgiven her because once in awhile she says things that makes you see blood. However, I just ignore everything she says now. I just try to understand her and have more patience. I am just on guard all the time when she is around. Kinda stupid for putting up with her, huh? Maybe, but I have my reasons for now. I remember it very well. That is from someone who I deeply loved before. He told me forever bye and it really hurt me. If it is from a common people, that's no problem for me at all. Unfortunately these words were from someone who I cared and loved.
