What kind of music do you like to sing?

Singing is one of my favorite hobby. During teens up to now, I have still that ambition in life to become a singer. I know my age no longer qualifies me but as an inspiration, I considered myself as a very good singer. So, I sing anywhere I may be. Even if I am in the kitchen, in the bedroom, in the bathroom, anywhere even outside in my house, I sing and dance with my music. I sing at the top of my voice and shout it loud to caught the attention of others as well as my neighbors hoping that they will be my audience but the problem is all of them run away and nobody cares to listen. Others even went into hiding....ooohh.. am worried! So, what kind of music then would they want me to sing?

I do sing too.. and the songs that like singing are anime songs and love songs! ^_^

Hahahahaha..... never mind if it rains a lot. Much better because your neighbors can't hear you neither stonned you. Not only that you can sing at the last pitch of your voice and sing it loud as much as you can...hahaha.. and, did you know that singing in the rain is good for your voice? You can be a first soprano or second soprano if not a soprano-tenor... hahaha...why not try? Well.. thank you and happy singing!

Im not really a good singer but I found out that I have a passion for singing. As much as possible I practice my singing. I usually sing in my room where no one can here me. Im embarrassed to be heard by them. The music that I usually sing are love songs.

Good, that you sing inside your room at least no one is distured and embarrassed. In my case also, why I sing even outside my home in order to assessed my ability as well as audience impact. Since, I noticed that my neighbors were flying high when I sing, it is just an indication that am not suited for that profession although it is my favorite hobby. But I still sing, even if nobody listens because I really love singing. Thanks for sharing, joyce. Keep on going, practice that singing habit and make singing as a hobby. Who knows?

Well I love to sing and will sing along to pretty much anything. I love singing to melodic music the best as it is the easiet. My all time favourite is christmas music. I was i choir from the age of 8-18 so I know a lot of it.

hehe I actually do sing outside my house most of the time. I sing in the car the most. I used to sing at work because we worked the graveyard shift and would listen to our Ipods.
In my years in choir and theatre I've done a ton of singing on stage in front of people.

well i tell you that i m a proper kinda bathroom singer who donot have a good voice . even when i sing people tell me not to sing . i also feel bad but there is difference in hobby and making people happy.i still sing anysong wat i like even if people dont admire as i m singing for myself not for them
so never go on others words if it is hobby just chill and enjoy

...Age is irrelevant. True, you are not likely to become a super star singer ar age 46. You can still sing.
...People feel uncomfortable when others may be doing something they see as strange. I cannot thing of one singer who stand in their front yard and sings for their neighbors. If I saw and heard someone singing in the store I was shopping in, I'd feel uncomfortable. They would need to be super star good, mesmerizingly good for me to stay and listen.
...It is not so much what you sing as how you sing it. Are you good or do you just preceive yourself as good? Do people compliment you? My best advice is to sing for God. Then it matters not what other people think, do or say.
...Do you go to church? And does your church have a choir? That is where I sing, besides my shower, car and around my house.
...Sing on. Sing out. And sing for Him. Peace be with you.

Hmmmm....I just go to karaoke pub and sing with my friends every weekend.The reason is I like singing and type of music that I like are oldies, alternative rock, RnB..and much more.Actually, I feel that singing can release my negative energy inside my body...(hahahahaha).I don't care people say that my voice is not good enough.At lease, I know hoe to release my tension...Am I right??..Happy singing day everyone... =)

hahaha... thanks... but am really bit worried why these neighbors of mine were not listening to me when I sing... hahaha... Well, if you love singing, too, then go on and don't stop! Keep on singing! Just be sure your neighbors are listening otherwise they will stoned you... lol

For me, I like singing too but people are also not interested in my singing and they either run away into hiding or just continue to do what they are doing. I like two genres of music; gospel and oldies; and they make up most of the music that I normally sing. Most of the time I sing in my romm where no one hears me, but sometimes I sing elsewhere too. If you are so interested in singing, have you considered entering the Idol competition in your country? Maybe you could be the next idol and fulfill your dream of becoming a singer. If you really do consider it, I sincerely wish you the best of luck! =)

Thank you with the posted comment as well as with the sincere wish. I do appreciated it. No, I do not have the intention to join any singing competition since my age no longer qualify such. It would be enough for me that I can sing and sing anytime I wanted to sing. Thanks again!

I sing at a cafe with my boyfriend who is a guitarist so I generally sing acoustic laid back types of music. We do play at some parties too so we have classic party songs from all eras. I also love mucking around with rnb music, soul, jazz etc.

Well, my voice is not a good singing voice, my passion is dancing with famous bands and singers along with their LP's and CD's. I have dreams to became a dancer and an actress too, though my age does not qualify me. Sometimes I record my dance on a video camera and I post them on different sites. I read a lot of critical comments, some even hateful from some Internet bullies, still my real friends like my videos and post positive comments.

Mostly,i love old melodies regarding love.U know in our national we have plenty of songs ragarding success of love and love failure.I love to sing only these type of songs..It gives me much satisfaction when i sing them.Its a great relief when i listen or sing them....
And my voice is good.My friends appreciate me when i sing.I have a dream to become a singer,but i know its not going to be easy.
