I learned few of the languages but one thing that is hard for me is french..i think you really need to go to school or buy material tools such as tapes to get the proper pronouncation.. self thought is hard..

Welcome to My Lot. I really admire people that know foreign languages. It must be wonderful to speak another language fluently, be able to read text where ever you go in the mother county and be able to write in the language to a very high standard. I learned French when I was at school. When I go to a French speaking country I like to have a good go at communicating with the local people. I lived in the Netherlands for a few months as part of a student exchange sort of thing. I tried to learn Dutch but I found it hard to practice it with anyone. When I asked for something in a shop my reply came in English and my German friends had their reply in German. Most Dutch people are master of many languages. I am currently trying to lean Spanish. I love to travel and am especially keen on Central America and hope to visit South America in the future.
