you have TONS to do but just can't seem to get in the swing of it? Or it seems like you are doing doing doing but it feels like you arent making any progress? I'm having a day like that today....I have SO MUCH to get done (though I think I've overloaded my list since I do have time to get the Xmas stuff done) and have been at it for a couple hours now but I feel like I'm not really accomplishing anything LOL...Reality is though, I am...I mean the dishes are done, I started the laundry and have done a couple loads already, ironing right now, took care of emails, PTR clicking and doing periodic posting in here, have all the stuff out that I need to make the bath products and candles and got that started, cut out some of the patterns I need for the kids clothes and have the materials etc organized and ready for cutting etc etc....but I feel like I've not even put a dent in my list of "to do" :-/ Am I the only one who goes through this?

I have to admit, if I get on the computer, sometimes I don't even do the dishes. I manage to get distracted though and don't even achieve everything I'd like to do on-line. I don't know why but things just don't get done. And it doesn't matter how much I can get done in a few days when I'm motivated...there is always more to do and I seem to just get furhter behind. You've done heaps according to your post. You've done very well indeed.

I have those days as well, sometimes I get annoyed by not accomplishing a work in which I seem to have forgotten. There are thoughts that I have on the back of my mind, that no matter what I do, I just can't seem to recall what is it!LoL So whenever I feel like this, I take a rest for a while, take a nap or close my brains for the moment to stop thinking of nothing!LoL Wishing that I'd get to remember what daily assignment or work it was, that I am about to finish..

I have days like that...especially with a baby at home. And it happens most of the time when I start doing something and then baby needs attention and that work is half done and then I start something else and leave that half done. So, it's like I have put in quite a bit of work that particular day but nothing's really finished and at the end of the day it seems like I've done NOTHING all day and that frustrates me:(

Shew!! That is a lot!! I do get those days too. But I have to admit - without the kids it can't get too bad for me...so I promise not to whine LOL. This week kind of feels like that for me. Things needs/needed to be done are : make my Christmas list for my hubby (did that tonight), catch up on clothes (still needs it), clean my house, get my hair cut, last mintue grocery shopping (did today), start Christmas shopping (did today), make a pumpkin pie, make an apple pie, made chili for the next to days dinners, wrap Christmas gifts, put up my tree & decorations....oh and work. I think that's it LOL. You are not along my friend :)

Yes, I have days like that also. It seems the more I get done, the more that needs to be done. It never ever ends. Just when I get close to finished, something happens and I feel like I am having to start all over again.

I have days like that all the time. I feel like that today. We are getting house guests tomorrow evening for a few nights and I can seem to get my cleaning done. I have tons to do, but can't get motivated to do it. I always feel like I'm not making any progress because I have 3 kids that follow behind me after I've cleaned and trash it all back up again. lol

I go through this all the time. I feel like my list is neverending. I do make lists, though, and try to break things down into manageable size tasks. That way I can cross things off of my list and feel like I really accomplished something. For example, on my list today, I wrote 'do 2 loads of laundry' instead of just 'laundry.' There is always more laundry to do, so I'd never be able to cross that off, but I can manage doing 2 loads. Then I feel good about finishing that task. Instead of 'dust' I wrote 'dust living room shelves,' a much more manageable task. And one that I should get to soon.
