I would say the view from a mountain in Northland in New Zealand. I could see the sea and pretty landscape for miles around. I also thought the Able Tasman National Park was lovely with its gorgeous coastal scenery. I have seen some stunning beaches in my life. The ones in the Seychelles have to be the best. I saw unusual rock formation with added considerable beauty to the golden sand palm fringed beach. I loved the sight of the little off shore islands. It looked just like paradise. The most memorable sight I have seen was the most fantastic sunrise I have ever seen. It was whilst standing on top of a Mayan temple in Guatemala. The sky changed from complete darkness, to a different shades of orange, blue and purple. Wow!

It is lovely that you live so near the seashore. Seeing the sun reflecting against the water is fantastic. I think it can look like a million diamonds that sparkle so brightly that the sight is delightful. Sunrise is a story of darkness unfolding, turning the sky pretty colors until lightness occurs. Sunset can be a lovely time of day when the sky changes color again until darkness arrives. I saw a charming sunset on a palm fringed inlet in Australia. The boats were part of the pretty scene like little black cutouts on a orange page. Every sunrise or sunset I enjoy is different. The one on top of the Mayan temple I heard the animals of the jungle waking up and starting to make a noise.

I would have to say the two most beautiful places I've been to so far in life would be St.Lucia and Jamaica...Absolutely incredible islands!

I'd say the Caribbean because it still has some rare lush beauty and Okinawa because the water is some of the prettiest bluest water next to the Caribbean that I've ever seen.
