If u were the producer who would be in your pride and prejudice cast

so who do you think should play Elizabeth Bennet and who should be Mr Darcy, who will be sweet Jane and her handsome husband?..and all the other characters..Mrs Bennet..the vicar, Lydia.. my friend's sister is studying Pride and Prejudice in high school and her literature teacher recently gave this as an assignment.. I thought it would be interesting to see what MyLotters thought ... I will keep my response to the end so it doesnt stop your creativity :-)

I think the best actors to play these characters are: Elizabeth: Natalie Portman Mr Darcy: Gary Oldman Jane: Kate Winslet Mr. Bingley: Orlando Bloom Mr. Bennet: Michael Gambon Mrs. Bennet: Imelda Staunton The other characters I don't know very well but I think the actors that were chosen are good playing their roles. I'm not sure if Natalie is the best choice to play Elizabeth but she is the only young actress I can think about that would do at least a average job.

Ok I know Natalie Portman isn't the best choice, especially because she is not an english actress, but I can't think in another actress to play Elizabeth...who would you choose?

I think the cast with Keira Knightley as Elizabeth is fine..At firt I wasn't sure if the guy who played Darcy is okay...but I think..I should not be changing anything...the cast is fine as it is..
