we've just experience heavy storm called Lando

Last monday morning, nov. 19 - here in Cebu City, Philippines we have experienced heavy rains. between 3pm to 5pm, it even get worst. i never seen such strong wind, heavy rains and there are even some falling debris in the streets. billboards we're tearing and falling apart. it was quite terrifying. we have just experienced the wrath of Storm Lando. i lost my internet connection until today. some of the electric wires we're cut off. there are even some homes that are destroyed. i just hope that we can cope up with all of this. It's the sad part of it all. Philippines has been experiencing many storms each year. Given that we are in a tropical country, storms are just normal things to come and go in our archipelago. The government officials should be more wide awake in looking at all these details. And the affected people should be given enough help and assistance. Let's help each other with this trial.

Here in Manila we did not feel the lash of storm Lando but I experience my phone line down and internet connection down last weekend. I wonder if that has connection with the storm at all.

it maybe. we'll never know. or it may be something else. yeah actually storm Lando just bid goodbye to cebu or even some areas in both visayas and mindanao ;-)

in my 28 years of existence. lando was my first storm experience. I saw flying galvanized sheet because of the strong wind. The wind was howling. the roofs created a some creaking sound that i never heard before. It was amazing to see the fury of nature.

well i believe they are working on it now. i just do hope it will be enough for those who are affected, but i guess we'll just have to work hand in hand. thanks for the sympathy.

that is sooo sad...i am from cebu but i am not in cebu right now...my cousin sent me an email telling me about the storm...and i've heard that there are many damages there...i hope everyone there will just keep on praying...God is our only source of strength and protection...

at least her internet connection was not cut-off. mine was interrupted after the storm but its back now though. and yes, HE is indeed our source of strength and protection.
