"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will deliberately be misquoted and used against you" Have you met people who follow this rule all the time?! Of late i seem to meet a lot at my work place LOL...do share your experiences.

Usually i dont talk too much in my work place, i used to respond only to the questions posed to me, as otherwise i do my work silently,.. and this as you said is misconstrued as i am inept in work, when others boast of their daily jobs they do it, to their superiors..be it a aspect of tearing a paper, or swicthing of the lights.. really i mean.. i have some people like this in my work place.. They go on.. appraise whatever things they do.. this in turn makes the officer to get focussed only on the person, and whatever work we perform, irrespective of the quality and nature goes unnoticed. Thanks for Ano, for giving me an oppportunity to give vent my feelings. Take care Ano:)

The person talks more a more makes mistakes more and more. therefore it is wise decision to keep your self silent. I agree with you that if anything we say will deliberately be misquoted and used against us. But some time it becomes difficult to keep some one silent. The people who can cotrol themselves are very successful. Therfore we should try to follow them and we should remain us to keep ourselves silent.
