Dirty Dancing: The Game

Well, it's finally here! I did a discussion several months ago when I found out they would be releasing a new game based on the Dirty Dancing movie. I have downloaded the trial but not gotten around to playing it yet. I will keep those who are interested posted. Did you like the movie? Do you own the movie?

my mom is a big fan of the movie and she got my sister and i into it. it's a great movie. i've yet to see the sequel though - and don't plan to. it doesn't look like it's worth it. and a game? sounds interesting.

I have tried the game, xleslieanne, and I liked it. It is like a sims game in that you get to create your character, move into your cabin, furnish your cabin with money you earn. The twist is that there are a number of games within the main game that you play to earn money. Lots of good music, too!

hmm, that sounds better than i thought it would be. i guess i just wasn't sure what kind of game could be made out of that movie, but it sounds pretty good.

I loved that movie. I am not sure what ever happened to the video of it. I remember for my 15th birthday that year I got the cassette or soundtrack to it. Later on I bought the other songs to it. It is hard to belive it was out so long ago. I am 35 now .

Dirty Dancing is one of my favorite movies. Patrick Swayze was wonderful. Yes, I own the movie and do watch it. He was recently on Oprah and he hasn't lost a thing as far as dance moves. He's still wonderful. Thanks for the interesting discussion.

The game is a Sims type game that is actually a group of games inside the main game. The music was pretty good, and I liked some of the mini games.

yes i loved this movie,i must of seen this movie thousands of times.i do own the video but it seems like everytime i watch t.v. it's on so i will watch it.oops sorry about the caps,my cat keepd pushing keys.pattie

Out of all the Patrick Swayze movies I get to see in reruns, that is the one they don't usually show in my area, but then, I don't have cable.

Hmmm... interesting! I loved the movie and own both 1 & 2 (2 I think stunk) plus the CD of the sound track. Let me know how the movie is!!!!

I liked the first one with Patrick Swazey (?Sp), he was awesome. I have never owned a copy though. Hope you enjoy the game!

I've had the movie for a few years now, maddysmommy, and I take it out to watch every now and then. I still enjoy it just as much as I did the first time I watched it.

Like the movie - I adore it! I do have it on DVD - well I do if it will still play, there is a good chance I have worn it out! I would guess I could repeat the whole movie word for word!

Wow! I didn't know that they had a game coming out that was based on the movie Dirty Dancing. I definitely have to look into that. I would love to check it out, even if it is just the trial. I love the movie and I own it as well. It is one of my favorites of all times and will always be. :) I am still amazed that a game is being developed. I would love to be updated as you get information. I am definitely interested in playing it and learning more about it.
