I have been fairly successful just doing things on my own, I havent had a real job for the last 8 months, and I have made quite a bit of money off of ebay, the adertising on my website, and some investments. however, I wanted to see what your thoughts on college are. most importantly the importance of college to being successful
of course, there is allways the list of successful people that didnt finish college, or didnt go at all, Bill Gates, Michael Dell... there are many many people that fit this category.
The other question I would like to ask is, do you believe the college you go to, effects how successful you are in life. for example, do you believe if someone goes to harvard or yale, they will be more successful than someone who goes to a school like UCLA or San Diego State.
My personal opinions are, that if you go to a school which better fits the things you would like to do in life, you will be far more successful than if you go to a school like Harvard based on it's prestige.
I also believe that it is quite possible to be successful without going to college, only it will most deffinately be quite a bit harder. you have to have determination, inginuity, drive, and a little bit of luck.
