what month or year did your baby start to walk?

My son is only 7 months old now and since you said yours walked when he/she was 8 months old, I am going to see whether mine could do that or not. he is now having lot of fun on his baby walker.

Both of my girls walked at 9 months going on 10. Some babies start early and others start late. It just depends on the baby.

My oldest child walked at almost 1 year old. My son was an early walker and eager to get moving. He walked at 9 months. I think he just wanted to keep up with his sister, lol. A gfriend of ours daughter walked at 8 months as well, while my nephew didn't walk until 15 months. It really just depends on the child.

Our first one walked at 13 months. We thought she was going to go before that because she was walking holding on to things, but it took her awhile to get more courage. Our second one walked at 14 months, which isn't bad considering she was in a cast for 6 weeks after she was born and had to wear a brace for the first 10 months of her life. her hip was dislocated when she was born. Our third one is only 3-3/4 months old but he just rolled over already so he may walk before his sisters did.
