Is reading important to you?

Very much. I've been to New York and England because of reading and I didnt even have to take a plane.

Reading used to be very important to me too. But i lost that. I really find easier doing other things, wich is a shame as i know that reading is such a great way to train your mind. I have to make myself read more like i used to.

I THINK all the time , reading is a hobby . through reading , i study more , fg, increase my english lever/ find the useful things /inprove myself and so on .

hi verity! yes, reading is VERY important to me. i have to read everyday for my research, if i don't, i won't be able to deliver a good job. also, my day is not complete without reading something within my interest. i really love and enjoy reading. :-)

Hello verity. Reading is important for me. Everyday I need to read books. I am student and it is necessary. I think reading book are need to all people as we are human who are always less of general knowledge so books are important. But nowadays people like to read books to look at the picture as you said because they just think books is nothing. For a student like me, book is my life. Verity, I have to tell you that reading has really been a way for me to keep my sanity over the last few years. My health is going downward, so to take my mind off that and other every day stuff I get involved in a romance novel. Most of the time I will read for 4-5 hours before even realising how much time has gone by. I would like to be able to sit and read all day and night, but my stomach would protest.lol I will read just about anything except horror.
