Is This a Casserole

ok i've never ate a casserole, and i'm cooking for christmas. so i want to make a sausage stuffing casserole with a corn bread topping. so i want to combine the stuffing with some kind of "cream of" and that is a layer, on top of that layer i wanted a little layer of ground scrambled sausage, then a cornbread crust how does that sound??? be honest plz. the last thing i need is for everyone to say i ruined christmas

go to the food network website. i am sure you can find something there. i have been watching it all week and they have had thanksgiving food all week. i make stuffing out of the box when i cook. sorry to say.
