I read this news from E! News, that Dennis Quaid's twins are now in the neonatal icu at Cedar-Sinai Medical Ctr in LA. after a hospital personnel unintentionally injected too much heparin. The normal dosage for babies is 10 units. the hospital personnel gave 10,000 units to each babies. The babies, Thomas & Zoe, started to "bleed out" since their blood's ability to clot were compromised.
The twins were born 8th November. So they're less than 3 weeks old!
This is so sad. If they were my kids I would me going mad already and suing everyone in the hospital. I do hope their kids would get well...

OMG how could anyone make such a big mistake, that is awful, oh this would be a terrible thing for parents as lets face it we all have faith in the medical teams in hospital, Oh I sincerely hope these little babies are strong enough to over come this...

yeah... imagine... you would rely to doctors & nurses to take care of you or save you from any life-threatening danger, then they'd make a mistake that can hurt you or even kill you...
this is really bad...

I just heard this story on TV awhile ago myself. How sad and tragic! I'm certainly saying some prayers right now for these poor babies. How careless that worker must have been; how could they mistake 10,000 for 10? Miracles happen in our hospitals everyday, let's hope the Quaid family gets one now.

there's totally no excuse for what the staff did. "improper storage" is not a valid reason...
i read through the news again, and it says that there were actually 3 babies affected by this super-terrible accident. imagine... 3 helpless babies...
the first one's back to normal, according to the news. but the twins are still not ok. i do hope they'd get better soon.
