Tradationally women in India get married when they reach the age of 18 to 25. This trend changed due to IT boom. Women even getting married at the age of 30 to 40. Few days back there was a news in newspaper that when they made a survey about marriage, they found lot of women eligible to marry said to the surveyers that they wanted to remain single and do not want to marry. This a new trend in India. What is your opinion.

Hi
This has another reason coz even girls in the IT sector earning well does not want to share that with another person. And they aim to grow higher in the company and forget the personal life. Some stop back thinking they cant handle both the professional and personal life together.

I cannot comment if this is a new trend in India. Personally, I think it applies to many countries. As to why women prefer to remain single, there are many reasons. One of which is that women today are more self-sufficient and less dependent on man and tend to be able to do what man can do, both at home and at work :P
