Is the smell of cat and dog urine safe for my son to breathe?

My ex is taking my son to his girlfriends house where there is a dog and cat that urinate on everything. They do not deep clean the house and it smells very bad there. My ex thinks it is ok and I disagree with him. I wanted information to support my belief that it is unheathly for any child to be in a plave like that. Please help.

i certainly would not let my child go there.it would be difierent if it was one little doggy accident,but from what you are saying it is terribly unhygenic.so if it is not clean and has urine smells that bad,get the health inspector's to check it out.if they say its o.k,then send your child,but i would not ,unless i knew it was clean
