oh yes!!! several times i do break my promises but i never do it intentionally.

No. I was always told never to make a promise you couldn't keep, especially to children. I was told to use the phrases if I can or I'll try.

I try not in fact I can't remember breaking any, to me a promise is a promise....

I hate broken promises. I never promise anything unless I know it is a promise that I can and will keep. When you promise someone something, they are trusting you to keep it. If you break your promise, then really you've just lied to the person you made a promise to.

yup...but wen u come to a sitution were..even if u want to keep ur peomise but there is no way u can do it..then only u can understand...it s better to break than to keep n make 15-20 people sad...and make happy a single person...i feel tat s selfish...wat do u say..

Yeah, y should I lie , i have broken many promises but i always try to see pros and cons then only decide . but i try to keep promises which i make.

yes, i do.i cant always keep promises.but i try my level best to keep them.and i never ever give out false promises.
