I run a business here in the UK and without peoples from abroad I could not run my company. I have found that the jobs I can offer at good rates of pay are below the expectation levels of English Applicants. However Polish, Iranian, Albanian, African (Various nations) Serbian, Croatian, Ukranian etc etc etc... All have a work ethic that puts the English working ethic and I say working tongue in cheek, in the shade. I might be wrong but from what I have experienced the UK is full of people who expect to be given a living without actually having to work for it. Don't get me wrong many in fact large numbers of the peoples of England/UK are happy to work. The problem is a large proportion seem to expect nice clothes, cars and holidays as a matter of birth right without ever having to actually lift a finger to actual work. At the same time calls are made in the press and the media for limits on immigration and stories about foreign nationals taking 'our' jobs abound. So can someone out there explain to me why I have English nationals unwilling to work and foreign nationals queing up to work? And dont say its wages or conditons because I pay in excess of minimum wage and conditions are excellent.
