do you think orkut is safe for giving personal informations?

well i dont think it is that much harmful specially for boys its not so , for girls it may b sometimes , the best way to protect is do not share all of ur original information their.

yea...it's very harmful because....if u leave there some personal details.....an outsiders can easily determine about us from communities and others friend's communities with scraps..from our community of our place,community as our age, community of our interests, community of our office,community of our destination and also there is some more pictures there at album....but one thing i need to add is there is a technique there in the orkut now for locking albums....that's very good thing ...but the fact is that there is a chance of photos there in the friends album...there may be ur photos lie with them.then it's may be not blocked and an outsider easily get u...that's are the things we need to think when using orkut...so beware of strangers and no need to add much strangers in the orkut profile ...so iam happy to talk a bit knowledge to you and very very bye now...

hi navneet, No sites are safe on internet that one can reveal the personal information. I donot see any usage as such for revealing the information like your address or your mobile number. One can definately reveal the interest as well as other things which is same and one cant misuse the same.

hi navneetrai.well i dont understand why people want to give their personla information on the social forums.i donot think there is any reason to do so,when anyone can read your scrapbook.i too have a profile on orkut.but i never give my personal details.rather if i really need to talk on some personal issue with anyone of my older friends then i chat with that person on my messanger.i think this is good.though orkut is safe but then why to take risk?
