Consultant is one who borrows your watch to tell you the time.

well...I can't agree with that at all. I am a technical consultant who consults mainly to the mining industry. My knowledge and expertise is vital to the safety of workers and the profitability of the operation. I am passionate about my job and my clients notice this and respect my opinions. I keep my knowledge up to date all the time and pass this on to clients and educational institutions. My opinion: Consultants are generally professionals who are willing to pass their knowledge on to others for all to benefit.

Thats execly wat a consultant is.... Sum 1 saying... oh I dont think you can handle that part of your life or business. You need me for your success... but if you ever fail its your fault. Seriously.. most people are much more capable than what they think

I am curious as to where this philosophy comes from.
