global warming

I think global warming is really a worldwide issue that demands not only the government's attention but our attention as well. Based on what I know, global warming is causing areas with snow and ice such as the north pole and south pole to melt into water, causing water levels to rise and potentially cause floods. Besides, those areas are also getting hotter, and I'm sure humans and animals alike are finding it hard to adapt to the new temperature and environment. So it is our role to avoid the emission of greenhouse gases eg. from vehicles such as carbon dioxide etc. and the government's to implement new laws about the emission of greenhouse gases as well as to hold campaigns to increase awareness of this potentially earth-debilitating problem.
