Quality posting (responses or discussions started) are defined simply by it being descriptive, well-thought and detailed as much as possible. As long as one has loads of ideas to share, then go for it.
I believe this is what other members here mostly misinterpret, this deosn't have to be lengthy but be sure that it is relevant to the post and it amkes SENSE..
You can post one-liners, but don't expect to get paid from it.

Yes and no to your question. Yes, because all lengthy discussions are quality responses with many keywords in it and good for mylot and smaller discussions will also be useful if it contains good and informative keywords rather than having single line and yes or no responses.

Length of the discussion does not equate to the quality... i had a response to my discussion that is quite long but it consisted only of five to seven sentences repeated over and over again... but here in mylot... since the admin cannot read all the discussions... they saw it fit that the long ones be given more points... and the very short ones like no point at all...
I think the reason for this is to avoid having members answer only in one sentence or some words...
