As you know, Maldini is Milan Captain.
If you Milanisti, in your opinion, who will be next AC MIlan Captain?
Is there some of Milan player or player from another team?

I've seen Ambrosini as Milan captain before so I think he is also a likely candidate. Honestly anyone from Milan's three national (Ambrosini, Pirlo, Gattuso) midfielders is eligible to be the captain.

It will be strange to think of Milan without Maldini when he eventually retires. I am a big fan of Nesta as a defender and captain, but I would prefer a longer term replacement. Gattuso would certainly give passion to the role but I would probably look to Pirlo to be a long term replacement, both because he is a class player and has I believe a better tempermant for the role.

i would think gattuso or nessta, nesta is calm and collected, and controls the defence, he is alot like maldini, and he has alot of experience.
gattuso on the other hand is aggressive and he plays in the middle of the pitch, controlling most of the field.
both would be great captains.

I believe Gattuso would make a fine captain for AC Milan because he knows the club and is well respected by his teammates.
