I would like to share some tips and other stuffs that I know about this site, I believe this'll help you enjoy your time here and to be more aware about this community!;)
*We have been experiencing unreasonable deletions of posts here, please keep in mind that posting Milestones, Recipes, Birthdays or any celebrations are not allowed here as it'll be deleted as soon as mylot has come across to it.
*Posting of similar topics and repeating them by starting another post will also be deleted, the only one's that'll remain are those mylot believes qualified their expectations.
*In reporting an abuser, simply go to mylot meesages and type MYLOT then PM the admin. If you can afford to attach the link to their profiles, please do include it. I know that we all want to enjoy our times here, so please do your share and treat the whole site as your HOME.
*Posting links about earnings sites or referral links attached to it, advertising blogs and other that does not have any relation to a topic will most likely be deleted.
*For questions, suggestions, comments, reactions or any other informations concerning this site we can contact mylot via PM or through this link http://www.mylot.com/nr/newmessage.aspx.
All of these do not generate discussions nor will boost your ratings, so it is better to be well-informed than suffer the consequences in the end.
These are just some of the most that I've seen that people and mylot members are having troubles understanding, so please do not hesitate to add some in-case I have forgotten anything.
Let's all enjoy and interact, we can have fun without DEMORALIZING other members and support one another. Besides, that is what MYLOT expects from all of us!;)

A bunch of thanks to you raijin. Mylot members are able to be informed about this matter especially the new members. At least they would have the idea on what to do and what are not allowed to do. I've noticed that some members are violating the rules like posting their url just to get referrals.

Thank you also, I always make my points here according to the guidelines and of what I knew from mylot after searching for their profile and own posted discussions. All we need to know are posted there, that I only hope others would refer at whenever they need legitimate ANSWERS on their questions.
You can report those who post their referral URL's, just hit the report button (!) and state why you reported that violation..

I think this is very kind of you to point these things out, I know it will help a few of the posters here especially some of the new ones as we all know that when you are new everything is a little confusing, thanks again for I know I foreget sometimes and respond to birthdays ans milestones because I want to share in their joy and I feel sad that they don't have a response to their happy times so maybe your post will help people...

You're welcome, I believe I know who you're professor was!LoL
As for your question, we are told to search for similar posts before we create or start our own discussion. Though there are times that you cannot avoid it, the best thing to do is try to make your own post orignal as possile and well-put or well-thought of.
Now, if someone else other than you started the same post with very same title and copied word for word, then that is a violation in this site as it is plagiarism. So please do check, try to be more descriptive and creative while posting.
Have a great day, enjoy mylot..

Too many new members sign up and do not read the FAQs or the guidelines. Alwyas a great idea to do so before signing up
at any site in my eyes. Thanks also.

This was all things I knew, but I think that the way you have explain it can help a lot of members here. I had some of my discussion delete month ago, but for non of these reason, but I guess someone just send a message in it and they simply delete it.
Another good way to make money with mylot is also to post images. Try to post some in your interest every ay. You can only post one every 10min, but it will pay you 1cent each.

I don't have any interest on money-making here, maybe that's where most of the deletions you receive camse from although I'm not pretty sure. I've been active here almost everyday, I also experienced some deleted posts but I don't jump into any conclusion on it. When that happens to me, I search for answers from directly from mylot through messaging or via their posts here that we used to receive back then.
Yes, earning through posting images are also a very helpful tip. Thanks, have a great day..

Thank you so much, raijin. I have been aware of some of these things already and it is good to be reminded again. In personal note, I have just responded to a milestone topic and I knew I was hesitant to answer but I did try anyway. Why, even knowing before answering that it could be deleted? Well, I searched for other similar (mostly exact)topics that have been around for quite some time and they did not get deleted, and so I did reply to the new one. Sadly, the next day it got deleted. I just am confused why the other posts did not get deleted while the one I had responded to was just basically exactly the same topic. Phew! Anyway, it was over and done with. I do not have any answer to that, but I will still enjoy mylotting and the next time, I will not make any post or responses regarding those you stated above. Thanks again. Have a nice day!

Mylot has stated that they cannot delete everything in an instant, since they cannot monitor all the members who comes and go in this site. That is why there's a report button, they put it for us to use and report the posts that we see which violates the rules and guidelines of this site.
I guess there's a difference between a being responsible member and a member who is aware of what is right from wrong, you said it already that it is against the guidelines and yet you posted in it. Then after finding it was deleted the other day, you get to realize that it is unfair for you. The answers are there, you just can't accept the fact that it happened to you.
I've been here for so long time now, I know where to find the answers because I frequent the rules, guidelines, FAQ's and even mylot's very profile with posts concerning about such topics about this site.

Thank you for clarrifying your point, I am sorry if my post sound rude to you which is not what I really intend to.
I am just stating that there's a (!) button that we can use to report such posts as these, I use them whenever I come across a post that violates the guidelines. I have successfully removed some of them everytime I'm logged on here, but there's too many of them for me to report.
In case you come across one and don't want to report it, please do not hesitate to PM me together with the link on that particulart discussion so I myself can notify the admin about it!;)

Hi again. Oh, I just like to clarify, that I did not feel that the deletion of what I had responded to was unfair to me. I just merely felt it was UNFAIR for the OTHERS whose post did get deleted while some exact same topic of others did not and have been around for several months. I know that it would be against the guidelines of mylot but it would be fair if they would delete all the others as well. Now, that is what I would call fair. Now, while you have just mentioned that they cannot delete everything in an instant, okay, it is understood. The funny thing is, those same topics have been around, and this one just started. Anyway, I just like to let you know I wasn't at all concerned about a deletion of what I have responded to. It is really about, INITIALLY, fairness. Anyway, it wasn't a serious topic to begin with. I merely congratulated a mylot member from his milestone post and even if it was deleted, sorry, but at least I got to convey that I partook to his celebration. Anyway, having said that, yes, I understand fairly well what I had answered to and in fact accept its consequenses.

hey i like that .... parang myLot admin ah :-)
i think mylotters should also learn to post interesting discussions ... a little MORE interesting than asking what tiles you have in your bathroom or if you like this kind of tea or that, or asking what season you like most... i mean there are already over 113,000 of us here, i'm sure those have been asked before :-) way to go Raijin

I took time to post this, since most members don't seem to know where to look for legitimate answers and simply post anything as if they know EVERY post they make are allowed here.
I've been here for a long time, that I make sure my posts are put according to the guidelines as possible.
