...Thanksgiving dinner is one of my favorites. The list of foods is long.
...Roast turkey with bread dressing stuffing. I'll make gravy from the drippings.
...Mashed Potatoes with butter and milk, mashed rutabaga with butter, mashed cauliflower with garlic and cheddar cheese grated into it, green bean casserole (I use Golden Mushroom Soup verses Cr. of Mushroom for a richer flavor) and baked bread rolls.
...Can't go without black olives, pickles, hot pepper rings and cranberry jelly.
...Desserts are cinnimon/apple bread pudding, bar cookies and heath cookies. I do not like pumpkin pie, plus I made thousands of pies when I was in college. I refuse to bake a pie!
...We can feed an army.
...Unfortunately, I may have to call our guests and tell them not to come. ;( My son maybe coming down with chicken pox! Timing sucks, but I am grateful. (I know that sounds sick, to wish your child get sick. I just know it is better to have them while they are young than get them as adults.) Have to see what my guest thinks. If he had them, it may be ok.
...Happy Thanksgiving to you. Enjoy your family and friends.
...Peace be with you. =(^;^)= Della
