My geography teacher was terrible.
I was so quiet in my geography class, hardly ever said a word but she still hated me! I would always get low marks no matter how good the assignment was so one day my friend who always got top marks swapped assignments with me and sure enough I got a low mark with her assignment and she got a high mark with my assignment.
So I stood up and told her that we swapped so she threw a chair at me and kicked me out of the classroom. I had to go to the nurse!

That must have been a nasty incident. I hope you got better after! How can they call themselves professionals if they don't know how to separate work and personal issues. disgraceful.

In my experience... there are three kinds of teachers.
1) The strict one which gets the job done... but none of the students really like him... and they mostly do their work because they fear him.
2) The young inexperience teacher... who cannot control his class... and nobody learn anything.
3) The best teacher. He establish a rapport with his students right from the beginning... and they all like him.
But at the same time... he is a no nonsense teacher. There is a time to play and a time to work. Students will like him as much as they fear him. And they will do their work for both reasons.
That sort of teaching is an art... and all teachers should be like that.

My worst and best teachers were always in the same subject: English. It was the only one I remember really caring about, which is perhaps why I feel this way. However, the reason I say my worst teachers were in that subject was because I had teachers who actually seemed to hate me for already being well-read. Whenever I said "I've already read that book" about whatever we are studying, they would get upset over it.
The best teachers would let me just take the test without complaint, and then help me find something new to read instead. ;)

I find my math teacher not interesting because math is a very difficult subject to tackle. For me, I hate the subject, so I also hate the teacher who teaches it.

Not in the school but in graduation. There was this lady who taught us HRM. Infact she taught 3 courses over 3 semseters. For the first time i beared her and the next two semsters i never attended her class and she finally gave me two C grades, irrespective of my performance in exams. She used to speak in a different accent and very boring. Finally i started hating the subject.

Well my least favorite teacher was a teacher I had in 3rd grade. However in elementary school we did not have specific subjects taught by different people until 4th and 5th grade.
My least favorite subject though was usually math... because once they started putting letters in math (algebra and up) I had a really tough time with it. I hate math, it was never my forte.

When I was still in high school, we have a history class. In that we've expereinced three teachers, since one goes for a "pregnancy leave" while the other has quit. The thrid replcaement was the worst teacher I ever knew, as I thought our english teacher was since she always callus students as CREATURES!LoL
The replacement (a guy) don't know how to speak proper english language, we cannpt understand what he's always trying to tell us so he decided to just rely on the books all the lessons that he wants to teach us. I believe he's the worst, since he don't know how to make the class more interesting aside from it being informative and educational..

We had one Geometry teacher. He was not at all good teacher. He was knowledgeable person alright. But his teaching methods were such that none of the students liked him.
He was so proudy that he would not tolerate even a single question rised against his teachings. Even if the students had problems, no one would dare ask him for the clarification. This was because he would insult the student, make a joke on him and treat him in such a way that the same student would not dare ask any question in future, not only his jokes were so rude on that student that other students would laugh at him and he would become a tool to laugh at for many more days.
I think that there are some qualities of teacher. One of them is being a knowledgeable person, the other is being calm, loving and ready to face the questions of the students. Only being knowledgeable is not sufficient and being proud of your knowledge is not at all fair for the teacher.
