What is your kitchen like?

I have a medium sized kitchen. I have units made out of pine wood. I have a tall fridge with a freezer at the bottom of it. I have a cooker that has rings to cook on, a grill and an oven. I have a washing machine and I have a tumble dryer. I have a sink.
I eat and then wash up my plate, dry it and put it away. I think dishes on my draining board can look messy.
Which appliances do you have in your kitchen?
How do you manage the washing up?
Is your kitchen a tidy place?
What do you like most about your kitchen?
Is there anything you would like to add to your kitchen?

Kitchens here in the Philippines only have the standard gas stove and rice cooker. We are blessed to have in addition a snack toaster, microwave oven, bread toaster, and slow cooker. The last two appliances are just there for gathering dust. :) Dish washing machine are unheard of.

Good luck with learning about your microwave. It may take some time to know how long each type of food needs in there to cook. I have just bought a new mobile phone and it comes with so many notes about how it works. Sometimes things can be complicated and it can take a while to learn how they work.

Unfortunately we have a very small kitchen, so even with two people in the kitchen it is a squeeze. We had the kitchen all done out a couple of years ago to modernize it, but sadly there is no room for a dishwasher or washing machine. We would like a much bigger kitchen but we would have to get an extension and that would cost thousands. I would love a washing machine which seems such a basic requirement in homes now, if only we had the room.

Yes, getting an extension would be very expensive. It is such a shame that you don't have room for a washing machine. Some people have a machine that washes and dries so that sounds quite helpful. When I lived in a tiny cottage I had a very small kitchen. I managed to get a washing machine and a fridge in it. I didn't have a full cooker. I am not good at cooking so it didn't seem to matter.

I'm now living alone and I do not need so many things as that of a big family but I have a refrigerator, just a two-burner gas stove, a round dining table, etc. The picture shown here is that of a relative living in Canada.

We live in a two bedroom apartment and our kitchen is probably small compared to many kitchens in homes. We have the usual appliances with a few extra that I have never had before like a dishwasher and food dispenser. We also have a microwave and lots of electronic gadgets as well.
Its mostly tidy when I've been in it. Once my hubby and son get into the stuff in the cupboards and fridge, it gets messy again.
I usually put our dishes in the dishwasher if there is alot or else i hand wash them and let them drip dry and then pack them away later on.

Lets see, I have a stove w/ oven, fridge, microwave, toaster oven, crock pot, coffee pot, & kitchen aid mixer. My kitchen is pretty small just enough room for a 4 seat table as well and a portable dish washer (that needs to get pitched). I do dishes usually at lunch time or whenever I have a minute. I'd like to add in my kitchen a kitchen that's double the size if not tripple so you don't have to wait for someone to move to get past or suck in your tummy!

My kitchen is actually a not so bad size. I know that more than 6 people could probably fit in my kitchen comfortably. I know at my old apartment that it was a bit small and maybe 3 people could fit into the kitchen without bumping and smooshing people and all of the complaining.
