Thansgiving and Jesus my Friend and Savior!

This free verse poem touches home as I tell how my Thanksgiving get together went! I love Thansgiving because family gets together and shares their life for that day! All of us have grown up and lost different family members and we all have that saddness, but for Thanksgiving, we are thankful for today, That moment of memories to charish forever. Throughout the year Christ Jesus is in my heart, He is in my home and wherever I go. I love you and praise you Jesus! I await His return with an earnisness of peace and Joy, because I know all suffering and pain will be gone forever! Thansgiving! The laughter of lots of children playing. The multitudes of adults visiting. Their voices blend in a harmonious noise. The smiling faces, Everyone putting forth their best happiness and thankfulness for that day. The greetings of love, hugs, kisses, hand shakes and pats on the shoulders. The all familiar faces of immediate family members. The saddness of each individual needs. Their struggles, the poorness of most. The love each one puts forth for that day. The Joy I feel. My need to visit as many people as possible. To say "Hi!" to unfamiliar faces. To ask them "what is your name?" "Who are you married too?" "Are these your children?" "What are their names?" "How pretty your baby is!" "Who made this dish?" "It's so good!" "Can I have the recipe?" To thank the ones who really made this holiday possible. To thank them is important to me. I pray they know how much I appreciated all their hard work. A hug, a kiss on the cheek and a friendly good bye. The thought of how many blessings I have taken for granite throughout that year. My list contains around 100 things I am thankful for, not just one or fifty, but 100. God has blessed me abundantly with life, with a home, with a lover and lots of friends, He has blessed me with His love, His all surrounding closeness in my heart. He has given me His sanctifing Grace of forgiveness for my sins, all because He says ask me for anything and I will grant it, all you have to do is turn from your sins, ask for forgiveness and believe. Jesus is the Glourious God of Abundant Love and Blessings! I hope and pray Jesus is Your Savior. "Love bears all things. Believes all things. Hopes all things. Endures all things. Love never ends..." 1 Corinthians 13:7-8 If you need Jesus in your life, take up His word the Bible and read the New Testament or the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus said to the theif, because you believe you will be in Heaven with me today! Jesus made clear the path for all of us who Believe, that when we pass on from this life, we pass on to a new life in heaven with Him. Praise the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit!! Amen!!
