finger nails preference - long or short, polish or not

I like long finger nails. However they must be well groomed. Filing is essential as is buffing to keep your nails fresh! For everyday wear I put a coat of clear nail polish and put some white pencil underneath my nail to make it look whiter. For occasions I might to a french manicure or paint a coat of a nice nail polish.

I love my nails short, polish and I love beige. I think is really hard to have super long nails.

I prefer grown but not really long. I like to trim my own finger and toe nails ever since. I do all the manicure and pedicure. The thing is when I was in high school I used to bite my nails and so I let it grow and keeps it lengthy for me not to get tempted biting it.

i hardly ever polish my finger nails, but have to always have my toe nails done (even during the winter!) i know its a little odd, but i find that after a day of having nail polish on your fingers, it starts to chip etc. as for length, i spend my life typing on the computer (i work p/t as a secretary and p/t as a freelance writer) so long nails just dont work for me.

I like to keep my nails pretty short, because i like to be active and paint/sculpt and stuff. Sometimes I like to paint them bright red, but most of the time i put clear polish on.

I like having long nails. Well not too long because I wear contacts and I don't want to accidentally hurt my eyes with my nails when I take out my contacts. As for nail polish, I usually keep my nails polish-free, but sometimes I do feel like going for French tips because I just love how the white tips look. Either that or I put on pale pink polish that's so pale, you can't really tell that it's polish unless the light hits it.
