Hi spiderlizard22,
It is one of the deference the nature wants to show between men and women. We cannot discuss more on this subject.

odd question!? I doubt there any many women out there that would choose to grow facial hair! The vast majority of women that do grow facial hair is down to a hormonal inbalance or a condition like poly cystic ovories, this is due to the male hormone, testostorone being high in a woman-this causes facial hair.

I did hear about some women who can grow facial hair but they just wax the facial hair off. I heard of women who grow facial due to having high testostorone

The first couple of posts are correct, it's testosterone. There are a few hormonal disorders that can cause hair growth, the most common being Poly-Cystic Ovary Syndrome(PCOS). Also, the hormonal changes that occur during and after menopause may cause it, especially if you have to take synthetic hormone treatments.
I personally do have PCOS and it makes me have a little bit of hair under my chin. It's extremely embarrassing.
