getting rid of old skin burns

when i was 14, during holy week while we we're watching "the 12 commandments", my mom ask to put hot water from the kettle to the thermos and i volunteered. the next thing happen, i lost balance with the kettle and it almost drop in the floor but the hot water just spills in the shorts that im wearing and it burns like hell. i have a third degree burn in my panty line portion but good thing its doesnt reach my private part, a 2nd degree burn in my upper left leg. until i can see the scars left behind though it has been for so many years. i've tried diff ointments and creams but it is still there. any suggestions?
