That's right! You read this right. In 5 hours time I am leaving myLot. HAHAHA! Just for some shopping that is. Well Thanksgiving went well at our daughters. My son came over about 9 a.m. We had breakfast etc with him. Then we woke dad at 11. Got him dressed then we headed out. It snowed on and off all day making it very Christmassy. Ahhhh! Pigged out as usual. Took an hour nap in her chair as the TV played movies. Then we left about 3. Anyhow I took long nap here then woke up around 9:30. It's now 10:30 and in about 5 hours I will be waking the wife up for some Black Friday fun. yes that's right we are going shopping. Hee hee! Anyone else planning on shopping this early here in the States? A store has our youngest grandsons Karoke machine on sale he really wants for a gift so we decided why not. Hee hee. Happy shopping all. I will do a lot of myLotting then head out the door at 3:30 a.m. for some fun spending. HAHAHA! HAPPY SHOPPING FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Glad to hear your Thanksgiving went well, Grandpa Bob. We just lazed around all day in a sort of slumber and watching tv. I even fell asleep for bout an hour while the turkey was in the oven. lol I got all warm and cozy in front of the fire and visited dreamland. We ate at 5 sharp and gorged ourselves silly but everything was sooooooo good that our taste buds kept overriding our brain cells telling us we were full. lol Rested for a few hours then played a few games of Sorry. Now hubby is visiting at his parents' house, my daughter is passed out in the recliner, and well.....I'm here. lol As for Black Friday, I'll be sleeping while all you nuts are out there fighting for parking spaces and merchandise. :-D

I won't be doing any fighting for a parking space or items. If it's too bad I'll wait till later and buy the tiems at a slightly higher price. I am not one for the HUGE crowds etc. The Mall we are going to is huge and therefore not too bad really. Saw a crowd at a Best Buy in the City that had a line of at least 200 people at 9 p.m. for their sales at 5 a.m. Not for me this year anyhow. HAHAHA! Glad you had a good day as well. 4 hours left. HAHAHAHA!! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I won't be leaving early for any sales. My plan is to leave around 8:am to one store. This will be an easier way to shop, as last year we went to lots of stores. The long lines were terrible with a 2 hour plus line at two stores.

Where I am going isn't like most places. It's a smaller town so the crowds won't be REALLY bad. It'll be crowded but not madly crowded. Hee hee. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hi Grandpa Bob! Hope you had fun shopping while I was fast asleep in my warm, comfy bed. We has our Thanksgiving here in Canada in October, and the next day we don't get sales like you guys do. Our biggest day for sales is the day after Christmas (Boxing Day). Stores have HUGE sales, so I do get up early yes, but not at 3 am lol. Luv & Hugzz, PurpleTeddyBear.

Oh Lord never ever again. HAHAHAHA! Some people were absolute azzes. Unreal. I say if you're going shopping that early at least have a good attitude about it. Some were very nasty to other shoppers and clerks. BTW, I bought absolutely nothing at all. Well milk and coffee cream. Did get a free breakfast at Sams Club though. HAPPY PSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I am an avid anti black friday shopper! I do not, will not go out on Black Friday. I would probably say something I shouldn't or I would let some idiot have it that more than justly deserved it and well, I prefer to shop throughout the year (its cheaper and more fun than doing it all at once with thousands of others out shopping for the same things!). Hope you had a great time. :)

Unfortunately this year I will not be partaking in black friday. I am so broke that I can't pay attention....what is this post about? LOL. Well, you guys have fun going out shopping and facing the madness! I will be in my cozy bed fending myself from the cat who keeps biting my toes.

Where we are going there hasn't been madness on Black Friday. It's a smaller towns Mall so not that many people. Not last year anyhow. Hope it's just as nice this year around. Last year at 5 a.m. there was maybe 25 people waiting for the doors to open. Not bad at all for me anyhow. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Nope, no shopping for me. Most recently the reason I got up that early was to go look at a meteor shower with my husband. I know, we are weird. We just got back from Oklahoma about an hour ago, drank hot cocoa, and we are headed to bed. Some of us have to work tomorrow.I will start some shopping in earnest this week, though. I have some handcrafted items in mind for adults. I understand that all three of my grandkids want legos. Yes, even the grand daughters.

Oh, so this is the Black Friday, the day off cheap sales. Have fun. I bet it is very crowded. Do you go so early to get the specials?

I am glad you Thanksgiving went well. I am not doing any Black Friday shopping this year. My aunt was going to go at 5:00 am to Best Buy and try to get a computer moniter that they had on sale. I just cannot get myself in the mood to get up before the chickens are awake and go to the store to *try* to buy something that might be gone. I get very testy around greedy people and I have seen some of those on Black Friday. Did you get the kareoke machine?

Well happy shopping. I took the youngest granddaughter overnight so her mommy could go this morning. My daughter and her family are here so that worked out good that the cousins could spend a little more time together! Hope you scored!
