Anil Kumble is doing a fine job as the captain. In the ongoing test match against Pakistan, he made very apt bowling changes. He himself bagged four wickets. His dismissal of Kamran Akmal was crucial. He reminds one of Bishen singh Bedi, the former India captain who led the team very successfully in the mid and late 70s. Under Bedi's captaincy India did very well in Australia in 1978. Hopae Kumble repeats the same!

Anil Kumble has looked impressive in the first test that he has captained and it will be a huge moral booster for him that the team notched up a win against arch rivals Pakistan. But the real test for him will start in Australia as they are expected to come hard at us. If he can win that series it will be the greatest series victory by any team in the world in the last decade

I think it is a good move to make Anil Kumble as an opener. I think Dhoni should be given more experience as player and then should be given test captiancy, which will boost his confidence. I think its every player's dream to lead team India. As Anil Kumble had said better late than never, it would be a great honor for Kumble to lead team India.
