They sent me home with a whole pumpkin pie I guess they know how much I love it. So was there alot of leftovers at your Thanksgiving feast?

Hi Terry! I just got done nibbling on some turkey! hehe We had lots of leftovers, it was just me and hubby. I cooked a nice big meal, and it all turned out really good! I really impressed myself. lol My pecan pie turned out beautifully! I was so worried it wouldnt, I had never made one before. I think Im going to make another one today, I have an extra crust and I had bought more pecans than I needed. Its hubby's favorite. Im going to make a turkey pot pie with some of my leftovers. Its really easy and its the only way I like pot pie. If you would like the recipe just PM me, its really easy and takes no time at all to make! Bay Lay Gray xx

I managed to get a slice of pumpkin cheesecake and chocolate cream pie, along with some ham and the shank from it too. My mother hoarded the turkey for herself. Waaaaa, I wanted to make turkey soup! Guess I will have to be happy with bean soup. My sister made some great butternut squash. It was a sweet custard style dish and I have some of that too. It was lovely not to have to cook. She was exhausted though!

I live in Canada so we have a different Thanksgiving date. Our Thanksgiving was a few weeks ago. But yes, we had a lot of leftovers. But now they are all eaten. I love hot Turkey sandwiches with gravy, or hot turkey sheppards pie, and soup. I make soup with the bones and some meat.

I am a Canadian so our Thanksgiving was in October and we had some leftovers, lots of ham. And I have a husband who thinks that if it is one day old, it is going bad. So we eat the leftovers during the next week. I made ham sandwiches, had ham with hash browns, etc. etc. My daughter-in-law brought us an apple and a pumpkin pie and we ate that the next day. I usually make sure that there are hardly any leftovers.

Hi Terry, As you know our Thanksgiving here in Canada was in October so I don't have any left overs from last night :( I will gladly take any extra turkey, stuffing, and of course pie that you or anyone else is willing to share though lol. Have a good weekend Sweetie! Luv & Hugzz, PurpleTeddyBear.

I love those left over turkey sandwiches. I put mayo and turkey on wheat bread and then I top it off with hot sauce! Yum! We were sent home with left overs. We had biscuits, mashed potatoes, green beans, yams, turkey and pie! Chocolate pudding pie, pumpkin pie (fat free), and cream cheese pie. Everything was delicious aside from the fat free pumpkin pie. It didn't taste good so we just kind of let that fall into the garbage can. SSSSHHHHH don't tell anyone!

Well, in my country Thanksgiving is not a national holiday. Some people celebrate it and some don't. So we don't cook special meals for Thanksgiving. But once I had a 12" pizza and some dessert when I went out with a French guy. That was the best I can do so far. LOL
