Guests for Christmas

We are expecting guests for the Christmas holiday. Our nephew is coming from California, and his sister is coming from Minnesota, with her daughter. They will be arriving before Christmas, the 22nd, and leaving around the 27th or so. They have not been able to be with us for Christmas for at least 20 years now. We are really looking forward to some quality time with them.
Are you having any out-of-town guests for the Christmas holidays? Do you need to be making special arrangements for them, or will they be staying in a hotel nearby? My guests will be staying in a hotel nearby. With the size of my family, I am not able to accomodate all of them at once.
On Christmas morning we will follow our tradition of a Christmas breakfast before opening gifts. Then we will make our dinner for later that evening. We plan on sitting around and enjoying the company as much as possible.
So, do tell, will you be having guests for the holidays? Where will they be staying? Any other special plans?
Happy posting..

Hi cajun,
It can be fun to go someplace to be with someone near and dear too. It's nice that you do one at your place and then one at his place. It's all about family, no matter where you are, isn't it? Have a Merry Christmas..

I will not have out of town guest for Christmas....well my son and his family from 20 miles away but I do have company right now for Thanksgiving and tonight we will celebrate our Christmas as they will be going someplace else for Christmas. But I have the tree and decorations all up...and there is snow on the ground so it does feel like Christmas!

HI jillhill,
Isn't it fun to have guests for the holidays? I always like to have company over. It makes the holiday much more enjoyable when you have others to share it with. We got a little snow Monday night for the first time. Most of it is gone now though. I'm sure there will be more before Christmas. Thanks for sharing.
