People says Sofware Developers are very unromantic!!! , what do you think?

Being a Software Developers is tough ,I think.As I am one of them.Even I do not develop some huge system,I strongly feel that it's hard and complicate for me. How can you image that one man sit facing the computer all day can be romantic. They are down to earth!So they could be excellent software developer.

Perhaps they are bookish and pragmatic,but under their cool face there has a hot heart.My bf always tell me, my little princess,good night when go to bed.the compliment make me feel warm and fortunate.

I don't think so. I am software engineer myself. i have also seen my friends who are also software engineers. They may spends hours in front of the computer, but it is not the case that they are unromantic.They also have feelings, may be they don't time to run after their loves all the times.

Well if its concerned with the time frame than i feel that evry person who is working definately these days has no limitations on the time spending in thier job at least when India is concerned and till the time the person is working in a non-government organisation. And the second part profession doesnt describes a person attitude towards love or romance i feel rather the more creative the profession the more creative are his thoughts and software developers deals with creating new programs so definately its creative and the person must be creative indeed, provided if he \ she wants to use his creative ness in that direction.

I am a software developer and even my girl friend complains about the same thing to me,haha. Well, sometimes when i go to meet her after work, the errors i was fixing in the program that day play in my mind and sometimes my mind even searches for a solution to the errors haha. So, I think , her complaint is a justifiable one haha.

You can't say that unless you have prove of it. Generly i think that it is true but thats also the stereo type association.Every one does it, even if the say there not, that also means as a developer you have to prove even more that you are romantic

Love and romance can happen to anyone at anytime. I don't there is a life without love and a person who had never fallen in love. I think even though software developers spend lots of time in front of computer they too fall in love and are romantic. Some people shows their romance and love while some people hide it in their heart without expressing the love they have.

Hi, They are romancing with their profession. Hope they felt love with their work. I had seen many software developers had affairs each and living together after love marriages. Another aspect I had seen mostly in India those marriages between software developers are long lasted and less problems are raised. Even though I am not a software developer. Hope they are more strategic in choosing their partners.
