Can it be that Peter Petrelli share the same blood line as Adam Monroe?

My imagination is speculating again of what's gonna be the next surprises in Heroes specially after seeing S02E09. It's kinda silly thought but I just wonder. If Claire Bennett can regenerate like Adam Monroe then they must share the same genes. So he can be his great grandfather. hehehe lol If that will be the case then Adam is related to Peter.
Matt Parkman has the same ability as his father so it can also be the same case for Claire Bennett and Adam Monroe. Does Angela Petrelli really wants to protect the younger generations? Or is there a link between her and Adam Monroe?
Do you also have your imaginations how the story of Heroes will continue? There's still a lot of time to think what's gonna happen next since the show will have a really long break after the last episode on Dec. 3.

I thought that the Petrellis were related to Adam when I learned he could heal like claire too. But then when she met that guy who could fly like Nathan, I dismissed the theory. I just think that some abilities repeat themselves. If not, then that could mean that the guy who can fly, is related to her and that would be gross.

My eighth grade science teacher was very thorough, and cool. The whole Monarchs thing is because Monarchs wanted their children to only marry royalty, eventually this leads to cousins marrying cousins for the sake of continuing a, "Pure" bloodline. Obviously this is inbreeding so the later generations tended to have mental or physical birth-defects.

That's quite a theory, which brings me to another speculation that if Adam Monroe married the most beautiful woman in Japan - Yaeko, and had children afterwards, then there could be a possibility that Hiro is also be a descendant of Adam Monroe. Now that's another theory.

Y'know what'd be really creepy? If Adam was the first and all the subsequent heroes were somehow his blood relatives. It's not too mutch of a stretch, considering how old he is. Of course assuming he finds inbreeding as disgusting as the rest of us do, that gets rid of the being Peter's father theory, but they could still be related.

Ah but the speculation is valid now that we have a 350 year window to glance into for scenes from the past, present and future and Adam is always with one of the original 'heroes'. You are on to something and its big !
Do you realize if we keep posting, commenting and writing about the show a flux will happen and the strike could disengage itself from the staff writers for Heroes and we viewers could be promised a brand new season !

So in your opinion user submitted script might turn out to be better than those created by script writers? That idea of user-created content might really happen. I mean they're already doing it the internet. I mean currently it's not really movies or tv series but articles or videos. Consider Wikipedia. Doesn't that contain UCC?;-D

Possibly, but here's where the user-created content revolution could really make history. NBC is already playing around with the idea by introducing the interactive features which have been getting more in depth every season. With the rumored switch to reality and gameshow television during the strike as opposed to repeats, what if NBC did a show where they let fans write their own scripts for an episode of Heroes and air the best ones ending with the absolute best fan-fic episode. We could get some really quality entertainment out of this (making it a major milestone for UCC) or some absolutely craptastic, one-hero-is-secretly-gay-for-another tripe (making it a massive failure in the future history of UCC).

At the end of Season 1 I had many predictions about what was going to happen. Most of them came true like what happened with Sylar. I was also thinking about Claire Bennett and I think that Adam may be related to him but how? There are so many possibilities about how he could possibly be related to Claire but I just don't know every time I think about it I start getting a headache. Hopefully we'll find out whether or not they are related. By the way did you see the last episode. I can't believe when I saw what happened my mouth was hanging open throughtout the whole episode.

Yeah I can't wait. Hopefully the strike doesn't last too long. I don't know what I'll do without Heroes episodes. There are so many questions that i still have. Well have fun watching the whole episode you'll be surprised at what happenes in this episode.

I was distracted by something and missed most of the last ep. I'll have to rewatch it tonight. I already missed half of the g4 airing so I'll watch it online. Hopefully we do get some answers, this is a great show and I would hate having to wait until months after the strike is over for answers that could just as easily be given now.

Yeah, it's gonna be a while from that chapter. But what you think it's really weird, but i think you're right. Maybe claire's birth mother made a mistake whe she thought Nathan was the father. Who knows if she was a part of the initial group and shared time with Adam monroe?? If you have more ideas, please, let me know.

Actually I was thinking that Adam can be Claire's great grandfather or something like that. But RaMan19 also made a pointing in highlighting Bob's description of Adam in relation to Peter's father. This show is just getting more and more exciting...

I read this thread a while ago, but didn't comment on it. However, the more I think about it the more intrigued I get. I have been reading around on other sites and can't seem to get a definitive answer.
The idea that Adam is Peter's dad is a great one. I actually love it. But I can't remember past episodes to see if that adds up. I am also not getting the first season on DVD until XMas.

I know, I'm so ticked by that, it's not even funny. I think the industry should just concede and give the writers what they want, because going back to reruns and reality shows just won't cut it, I think. They could do reruns of all the current episodes of heroes that way those who can't afford the dvd or have just forgotten can get caught up. It worked pretty well when G4 did the first season marathon before the launch of the second season eps and, "The Post Show".

Man, I need to catch up on the graphic novels. I haven't read them in a really long time. I guess it could offer so much more insight to some of the stuff going on.
The thing that really sucks is the writer's strike. So many shows are going to be in limbo with this being one of them. It's going to be quite some time before we fine any answers and all we can do is speculate.

I've missed two or three episodes this season (I just can't remember to set the VCR on Monday for some reason!) so I'm a little lost on some storylines as of late. I did have the same thought as you about Claire being a decendant of Kensi's when they first showed him regenerate. Of course, Claire's mom also had powers, so she could be Adam's decendant and the gene could have come from her instead of the Petrelli side.

You can watch them in youtube either with a small screen or full screen but bad resolution.
You have a point there though. And if I consider the looks of the Petrelli's, they're all brunettes and Claire's mom is blond like Adam which can connect the dots hehehe lol

Darn, I'm wrong, I just looked on the official Heroes wiki, they have a lil bit clearer picture of Arthur and I'm pretty sure he and Adam are two different people. Also, he didn't die when I thought he did. He was still alive while peter was in nursing school apparently.

I like where this discussion is going, unfortunately it's all just speculation until they actually reveal the secrets. I'm sure I'll be happy with what they do with the series whether my theories are correct or not I really just hope they don't f it up like so many studios do with good shows, or cancel it's production completely if they don't get good enough ratings.

Thanks. Like I said I'm an addict. If only I had the money for the first season dvd. Most of the stuff I'm citing from the first season is from memory so I'm not sure that some of it is 100% accurate. Like I said, I'll check to make sure what I'm saying is accurate.
