Do you have a fake tree or a real christmas tree? When I was a kid my family used to buy a real tree every year, but since I hit my teens, we got a fake tree. It was too much trouble to move the tree in and out the house, and water it all the time.

All my years growing up we had fake trees im allergic! :(
but when i moved out they had gotten a real tree twice - to which my mother found out was a big hassel with having to vacuum constantly and he sap getting everywhere! :( YUCK!
WE NEVER HAD A REAL ONE! :) we prefer the fake not only for my allergies - still- but little ones come over and they just love putting EVERYTHING in thier mouths! and a tree needle is the worse! and NO pointsettias either they are poison to humans & animals! :(

When I have time to deal with it, I put up a fake tree. The hubs hates it, but everyone that comes over always thinks it's real, lol. This year I am way to busy to mess with it, and if I don't mess with it, no one else will. So, my mom is pouting because there will be no tree at our house this year.

When I was little, we had a real tree and that was the thing for us to go out and pick out the perfect tree. When my mom and dad got divorced, we moved in with my gradparents. I think we had a real tree once and then it was only fake trees. My husband and I buy a real tree and we go to the same place every year. When I have kids, I want them to have that special tradition. Real trees are so meaningful to me. They feel like Christmas and hold good memories for me. I love going to pick out that perfect tree and the way it makes the room smell.

Hi:)
We have a fake tree, due to the fact im allergic to the needles of a real one. When i touch a real ones limbs,i get all itchy and red bumps on the spot where i had touched it,usually on my arms.I would love to have a real one and feel its not christmas like when i was little without a real one.I do put a real one and decorate it outside my door and wear gloves when decorating it.Needles are too messy and the watering,i always forgot the one time i did have one, haha.

We always get a real tree. I think they are sooo very pretty and smell good too. I remember when I was little we didn't have a lot. We had an artifical 4ft. tree every year. So now I guess I have the real ones because I always wanted them when I was younger.

Here in my country, we can't afford to have a real tree every time. It's expensive. Besides, local officials do not encourage us to cut down trees. Anyway, we have a synthetic that looks like a real one anyway. And it's also collapsible LOL! That way, we can just pack it and use it again next Christmas. Merry Christmas to everyone here at mylot. I hope we all get a lot of goodies and gifts.
