Im gonna keep drinking a glass in the morning after my jogs.

Hi EMzo0! My wait went from 60 kgs to 85 kgs after the birth of my first son. I went to seek homeopathic advice and my doctor told me to skip meals and drink only milk everytime I felt hungry. I did try it and it worked.
U see milk is a complete nutrition. It should give u all the necessary nutrients u need in a day. but my personal opinion is that we should have a balance diet including fruits and fibre to help maintain a youthful skin as well.

Wow, if drinking milk really does work I might have to try this (not the skipping meals part but the milk a day thing...) Quite interesting....

I have heard contradicting things on this subject. Some say lowfat milk can help you lose or maintain weight, others say it is fattening. I guess it depends on your overall needs and the other things you eat and drink. If you are talking a glass of milk versus a glass of soda, milk will be better than the empty sugar calories of soda. If your goal is to maintain your weight and you want the nutritional benefits of milk- calcium and vitamins- lowfat milk is good. The only constant I have heard is whole milk is bad- too much fat to make the benefits worth it- except for young children who need that fat. Honestly, I don't know what to think, so I stick that in my catch all category of moderation, some is good but too much is bad.

Actually milk is very fattening. When I was on weight watchers we were only allowed one cup of milk a day, and that had to be skim milk. Milk has a lot of fat content in it. But don't stop drinking milk because of it being fattening. You need the nutitions in the milk, like the calcium, for your bones and teeth to grow strong. Also milk is very filling, thats why babies drink it, so you will eat less if your full on milk. This could be why your losing weight.

milk does contain fat. However, you can buy skim milk.. which has no fat. I think it tastes very watered down though, so I drink 2% milk. Every healthy diet needs a little bit of healthy fats though, and because milk is so good for you, ive chosen to get my fat intake from milk!(and chocolate milk sometimes) haha. but yeah, i dont know if it really does help keep weight off.. but i do think it does. hmm
thanks for the response: )

Lol, i was wondering if anyone thought the same thing.. but i guess you can follow my method if it works. However, the easiest way to lose weight is to count calories. None of that "no carb" or "no fat" dieting.
No matter how much fat or carbs you cut out of your diet, you can still consume 4000 calories a day, and that.. would keep you big and bulging in the tummy area.(Unless you were a big guy who worked out)
After you have your weight under control by counting calories, that's when you can maybe take your fat and carb intake into consideration, for different reasons.
Why people eat low and non fat and low carb( a.k.a-healthy((even though you need a balanced amount of carbs))foods) is because while 1 chocolate bar will equal 250 calories, 1 apple will equal 100, or 1 banana will equal 100.. vegetables have even less calories. This means that instead of eating that 1 little tasty chocolate bar and not feeling full, you can eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and feel more full.
If everyone here is trying to lose weight, all it takes is some research(so you dont lose weight in a bad way), and some self discipline. Also, when you are eating healthy and maintaining a healthy weight, you really do feel good. You have more energy and I think that what you consume is definitely important for your wellbeing.
Exercising only adds on to that good, healthy feeling.
If you're counting calories and eating healthy, its good to have one or 2 "cheat days" every couple of weeks. On my cheat days, I eat whatever the hell i feel like, lol.
But thanks for your response Alvin_lu: )
