I am a stay at home mom of three precious little boys.. My hubby and I would like to start being able to have some more one on one time with each other. However, my children have never been with anyone other then extended family. What should I look for in a caregiver??? How do I know when I have a good caregiver???

Start with a criminal background check. Credit check. Reference check.

I haven't had to find anyone as of yet but other than Grandparents, my daughter has never stayed with anyone else. I just don't feel comfortable.
I guess, you could always find a friend you have, someone who is already good with your kids, that they know & someone that you can trust.
If you're looking for a baby sitter, try asking your friends with kids & see who they have used before & who they liked & trusted with their kids. Then you'll have someone else's opinion & of course, you meet them first to see what you think.
Just look for someone who you find to be honest, friendly, someone that your boys like & then you maybe do a trial - go do the shopping for an hour or 2, have them watch your kids & once they're gone, talk about it with your kids (if they're old enough) - see what they think of him/her, ask what she was like & if she treated them well - you'll find someone, i'm sure!
