Facebook security concerns

Recently, there has been many articles regarding the privacy and security concerns of facebook and other social network sites. I fully agree with the articles and would just like to amplify what it says to decrease identity theft and any other fraud related activities. Here are a few tips which I have got in order to make you a less likely target for fraudsters. 1. Try and make sure that your username or password has nothing related to your personal life. 2. Try and include small case, large case letters and numbers in your password. Simple words can be easily unlocked by hackers as they have softwares to automatically guess the password by using different words which can be found on a dictionary. 3. Change your privacy setting so that only your friends can view your profile. On facebook this can be done by clicking privacy on the top right of the site. 4. Check your friends network and remove anyone who you have no personal relationships with. Any other commments is welcomed :)

It is always your own fault for fraud because it was your own fault for not changing your password or making sure your password isnt universal or not making it unguessable.

i think facebook should be dismantled, and not exist. There is way too much going on for the likes of me, and my children want to be on it.. a couple of them are. I fear the worst in this networking of kids,, sending boozemail, and telling outright lies to be accepted as a friend.. horrible thing facebook is...
