Any fans of Period Dramas out there?

I just love period dramas, you know the ones set in the 18/19th century like your Jane Austen's and Charles Dickens. I've seen loads of really good BBC period dramas - pride and prejudice, north and south and Our Mutual Friend. Anyway no one seems to be discussing these great shows, or indeed period dramas in general?
So any fans of period dramas out there?

Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorite shows. I've got it on DVD. My English teacher in high school turned us on to that movie. I have loved it ever since.

Do you mean the BBC version with Colin Firth, or the more recent film version? I love the BBC version the best, it's such a brilliant adaption and i've lost count of how many times i've seen it!

I love old-fashioned tales of romance and daring-do. I loved Emma! Pride and Prejudice the movie was well done also. I don't know if you would count it as period drama, but I also really loved Ever After. They don't make too many tv shows like that here. I should comb the torrent sites and see if I can find something good to download. Any recommendations would be most welcome.
